DOCUMENT INTERCHANGEABLE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To realize the interchange of a document keeping a document image to the best by validating designation when each character in a row is set at the same designated state, and invalidating the designation when different designation characters are mixed in the row. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with a means to discriminate whether or not the constitution character of a document from a floppy disk drive 4 is a character with the designation in sequence of the arrangement of the character, and a means to recognize the designated state of each character in row unit by holding attribute information representing the designated state of the same character in an attribute information buffer A-buf in a memory 3 for data and comparing it with the attribute information attached on the next character in the same row when the character is the one with the designated. When the characters with different designation information are mixed in the same row, all of the characters in a corresponding row are handled as the ones without the designation, and when all designation information in the same row coincide, all of the characters in the corresponding row are handled as the ones following the designation information. In such a way, it is possible to perform the interchange of the document in the state keeping the document image before the interchange to the best.
