Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To make it possible to surely prevent slipped duplicate sending generated because of such as elapsed deterioration of a separating pad by adding a friction pad against a separating pad on a sheet feed sending device for preventing duplicate sheets from being carried. CONSTITUTION:If friction force G of a separating pad 4 is reduced, on feed sending with a paper feed roller 2 or on carrying with a carrying roller 7, together with an upmost sheet P1, a second sheet P2 is carried down the pad 4 on slipped. When the sheet P1 is carried with the carrying roller 7, tension is generated on the sheet P1 due to extraction of the sheet P1 from between a roller 6 and the pad 4 with strong carrying force to pile up on a friction pad 8 together with duplicate sheet P2. When two sheets P1, P2 are piled on the pad 8 in such wise, component of pressing force Fv under acting the sheet tension acts to sheets P1, P2 and the pad 8. And as friction force of the pad 8 is larger than friction force between sheets P1, P2 to each other, the double sended sheet P2 is stopped from being carried by the pad 8 and only the sheet P1 is carried.
