Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To accurately measure a flow rate, by generating a clean Karman vortex by preventing the generation of a trailing vortex from the joint of a vortex generator and a housing. CONSTITUTION:A point 7 is formed so that the angle theta1 formed by the main body side surface 3a of a vortex generator 3 and the inner surface 7a of the joint 7 becomes equal to the angle theta2 formed by the main body side surface 3a and the upper wall inner surface 2a of a housing 2. The joint 7 of the vortex generator 3 is slid up and down by adjusting a shim 26 so as to set the difference (h) in level between an upstream corner part 8 and the upper wall inner surface 2a of the housing 2 to + or -0.1mm or less and the housing 2 is fixed by a screw 25. At this time, since the inner surface 7a of the joint 7 is formed so as to become equal to the upper wall inner surface 2a of the housing 2 in a gradient, both surfaces can be easily positioned within the same plane. By this method, the generation of a trailing vortex 9 from the upstream corner part 8 is eliminated and the generation frequency of a Karman vortex can be accurately detected and a flow rate can be measured with good accuracy.
