Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To obtain an insecticidal composition having synergistic activities for killing arthropoda by including a specific pyrethroid combination, a phosphoric acid derivative and optionally piperonyl butoxide. CONSTITUTION: This insecticidal composition includes 0.1-40wt.% cypermethorin comprising 40-100wt.% 1RcisS and/or 1RtransS stereoisomers in the eight kinds of possible isomers as pyrethroid components based on the total weight, and a phosphoric acid (e.g. phosphamidon and heptenophos), a thiophosphoric acid (e.g. diazinon and quinalphos) or dithiophosphate (e.g. malathion and phosalone), which is toxic to an arthropoda in the ratio of 1:(1-99), preferably 1:(10-99) to the amount of the cypermethorin as the second component. The blend of piperonyl butoxide of less than 10wt.% is more preferable. The composition preferably includes (1RcisS+1ScisR):(1RtransS+1StransR) enantiomer pair of (55:45) to (25:75) as the cypermethorin component.
