METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR BAKING AND DRYING COATING MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To efficiently dry coating material applied on a conductive work in a short time by feeding high-frequency current to an induction coil to heat the work itself while oppositely displacing the conductive work and the induction coil. CONSTITUTION:A coated conductive door, namely a work W is held on a bearer 54 forming a work placing mechanism 14. Then the bearer 54 is displaced to the vertical upper direction in the driving action of a cylinder in a columnar body 52 and the work W is displaced near to an induction coil 24 side forming a work drying mechanism 12 and positioned. In this state, an electric source 28 is driven to feed high-frequency current to the induction coil 24. Thereby eddy current is induced to the work W itself and the work N is heated. In this case, the work W is two-dimensionally displaced at a short-time interval via the mechanism 14 by actuation of the cylinders 34, 44. As a result, the coating applied on the work W can be efficiently baked and dried in a short time.
