Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To obtain an antifoam which maintains its effect even at an elevated temp. by adding a specific fatty alcohol, alcohol ester of carboxylic acid and any of an alkylene oxide adduct to the alcohol, wax and carnauba wax to the antifoam. CONSTITUTION: Any of the >=28C fatty alcohol, the ester of the 1-22C carboxylic acid and >=28C alcohol, the 2-4C alkylene oxide adduct to the >=28C alcohol, the polyethylene wax of a mol.wt. >=2000, the carnauba wax, the montan ester was, the montanic acid wax and their salts is added as the component (d) at 5 to 50 wt.% to (a) the 12-26C alcohol obtainable by an oxo synthesis process or Ziegler process, (b) the fatty acid ester of 12-22C carboxylic acid and monovalent to treatment 1-18C alcohol, (c) a hydrocarbon, such as white oil. The mixture is prepd. as the oil-in-water emulsion from which the antifoam is produced.
