Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent an excessive increasing of a liquid surface within a hot temperature generator during an energizing period or during a low load operation by a method wherein a valve arranged in an absorbing liquid bypass passage connecting a hot temperature generator and a low temperature generator is controlled by a signal from a temperature sensor arranged at an outer wall of a barrel of the hot temperature generator. CONSTITUTION:During an energizing period or a low load operation time, a temperature within a hot temperature generator 1 and its saturated vapor pressure are low and a pressure difference between it and a low temperature generator 2 is low, so that a flow rate of absorbing liquid flowed to the low temperature generator 1 is lower than a flowing volume of absorbing liquid for the hot temperature generator 1 sent by an absorbing liquid pump 9, resulting in that a liquid surface within the hot temperature generator 1 is increased to prohibit a refrigerating action of refrigerant. At this time, a valve VA is opened by a signal from a temperature sensor SG by a control unit C, thereby an absorbing liquid within the hot temperature generator 1 passes through a bypass pipe passage 23 having a low flowing resistance toward the low temperature generator 2. In this way, an excessive increasing of liquid surface within the hot temperature generator 1 is prevented. As a sensing temperature of the sensor SG is increased, a degree of opening of the valve VA is decreased and in turn if the sensed temperature reaches a predetermined value, it is fully closed.
