Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enhance a water proof capacity of an electric equipment part and enable more compact design, by fixing a power transistor to the end of a heat pipe installed inside electrical equipment part and leading the other end of said heat pipe outside the electrical equipment part, penetrating through the side wall, and installing a cooling device based on heat dissipating plates. CONSTITUTION:An outdoor equipment body 11 of a heat pump type-air conditioner is provided with a heat exchanger 12, a blower 13, a compressor 14, and an electrical equipment part 15 inside, and divided into a heat exchanger chamber 12', a compressor chamber 14' by a partition plate 30. The electric equipment part 15 is covered with a box-shaped member 16 formed above the compressor 14, and is provided with a print substrate 18, a power transistor 19, a cooling device 20, etc. The power transistor 19 is fixed to a metal fitting 23 having a good heat conductivity fastened to a hole on one side of a heat pipe 26. The heat pipe 26 passes through a penetration hole 22 in the central part of a side wall 25 of the box member 16 and makes the other end of the heat pipe to face outside the electric equipment part 15, thereby fixedly installing the heat dissipating plate 28 which forms a heat sink to the end. The penetration hole 22 and its surrounding areas are sealed with a silicon sealing member 27 and the like. The heat generated by the power transistor 19 is transferred to the heat dissipating plate 28 of the heat sink by the convection of heat inside the heat pipe 26.
