AUTOMATIC UNDERWATER OPEN-LEG APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To make an automatic underwater open-leg apparatus compact as a whole and thereby to facilitate handling thereof, by putting the apparatus in a state wherein open-close legs close, except for a time when it is set. CONSTITUTION:A float 23 is connected to a slide plate 5 through the intermediary of a fourth wire cable 22 and third wire cables 19, and when the slide plate 5 is drawn up with a rising motion caused by the floatage of the float 23, open-close legs 3 open respectively. In a state wherein an automatic underwater open-leg apparatus 1 is suspended, no floatage occurs in the float 23, and therefore the slide plate 5 is not drawn up, while the open-close legs 3 are closed under their own weight. The open-close legs 3 start to open when the floatage occurs in the float 23 with further lowering from this state.
