Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent arc discharge being generated between a movable electrode and material to be welded by turning the movable electrode and the material to be welded without being accompanied by sliding between both when the movable electrode is pressed against the material to be welded by the strong force and the title electric connecting device and the material to be welded are moved relatively. CONSTITUTION:The movable electrode 210 is pressed against the material 1 to be welded by the strong force and the electrode is turned in an abutted state at all times without being accompanied by sliding between the electric connecting device ELiL and the material 1 to be welded. There is no possibility that the arc discharge is being generated between both and a satisfactory electrically connected state is maintained. The electric connection between the movable electrode 210 and the outside is carried out via a pressing electrode 220 arranged to the inside of a caterpillar of the movable electrode and the movable electrode 210 and the pressing electrode 220 maintain the electric connection while being slid. Although there is a case where the arc discharge is generated between both, the discharge is shielded by the movable electrode 210 and does not influence the material 1 to be welded. By this method, even when long-sized material is handled, stable welding can be expected and a discharge mark is not impressed on the material to be welded.
