X-RAY DIFFRACTING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To enable the recording of crystal information massively with a single exposure, by arranging an image storage means, a reading means and an erasing means and a moving means and the like. CONSTITUTION:A sample 7 is irradiated with X-rays to store an X-ray diffrac tion image thereof 7 in an image storage plate 1. At this point, the storage plate 1 and an erasion lamp 37 are arranged at a position away from the stor age plate 1 lest these should disturb the storage of the X-ray diffraction image. Then, upon the end of storing the image, a reading section 9 is moved with a guide bar 29 to such a position as to allow the reading of the X-ray diffrac tion image stored in the storage plate 1 to perform a reading work. Upon the end of the reading, the reading section 9 is put back to the original position, the lamp 37 is moved with a guide bar 30 to such a position as to allow erasion of a residual image in the storage plate 1 with the lamp 37 and then, the resid ual image is erased. Upon the end of the operation, the lamp 37 is put back to the original position. By performing such a series of work, different X ray images can be stored and read in succession thereby enabling efficient measure ment.
