Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To enhance fuel injection performance by rotating a start lever connected to a metering member of a fuel injection pump in a forward direction along with the increase in rpm of the pump in a first adjustment area and rotating it in a counter direction in a second adjustment area. CONSTITUTION: A metering member 2 is arranged on a pump piston 1. The metering member 2 opens and closes a discharge port 4 of a relief passage 3. The position of the metering member 2 is controlled by a start lever 5. A governor is constituted by a drag lever 20 positioned in the same plane as the start lever 5, a control spring 25, an idling spring 32 and a rpm signal generator 11 pivoted on the drag lever 20. In this case, the start lever 5 is rotated in counter clockwise direction against the springs 25, 32 and abuts a shaft 28 of the drag lever 20 in a first adjustment area. Further, the start lever 5 is rotated together with the drag lever 20 around the shaft 28 in clockwise direction in a second adjustment area.
