EFFECT ADDING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent the output of a digital musical sound signal from being broken and a strange digital musical sound signal from being outputted even when selected effect is changed by performing switching operation so that the digital musical sound signal inputted to a signal processing means is outputted in response to the change of the selected effect. CONSTITUTION:When the selected effect is changed, a switching output means 17 switches and outputs the digital musical sound signal by-passing a signal processing means 14 first and this digital musical sound signal is outputted continuously until the signal processing means 14 begins to output a digital musical sound signal which is processed correspondingly to newly selected effect. Then the digital musical sound signal which is processed by the signal processing means 14 corresponding to the new effect is outputted. Consequently, the digital musical sound signal is not broken right after the selected effect is changed and no strange digital musical sound signal is outputted, so that the selected effect is changed naturally.
