Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To identify a bacteria strain efficiently and accurately at low cost, by hybridization between a single strand DNA of useful bacteria and a second single strand DNA produced by non-radiolabeling a strain to be assayed. CONSTITUTION:Clinically or industrially useful bacteria are classified through combining their physiological and biochemical properties and histological characteristics, and from the resultant all strains belonging a desired group, the respective single strand chromosome DNA are extracted, each being solidified to produce a microplate well (A). Secondly, DNA is extracted from the strain to be assayed belonging to said group but unknown for its kind, and altered into a single strand DNA followed by labeling with a non-radiolabeling substance (e.g., biotin) to produce a labeled single strand DNA (B). Thirdly, the components A and B are mutually hybridized using a kit for identification to produce a hybrid (C). Thence, the component C is cleaned, and the labeled substance contained therein is assayed to determine the degree of hybrid formation, thus identifying the strain to be assayed. |
