Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To detect the time when the melting of an iron-contg. cold charge is completed with high precision by measuring the low-frequency component vibrating force and all-frequency component vibrating force of the vibration of a converter body, and considering the time when the ratio of these vibrating forces reaches a set value to be the completion of melting. CONSTITUTION:An iron-contg. cold charge is charged into a converter, oxygen is blown in from a top-blowing lance, and carbonaceous material and oxygen are blown in from a bottom tuyere to melt the cold charge. In this case, the low-frequency component vibrating force and all-frequency component vibrating force (or high-frequency component vibrating force) of the vibration of the converter are measured, and the ratio of both vibrating forces is calculated. The time when the ratio reaches a set value is considered to be the completion of melting. By this method, the completion of melting of the cold charge can be precisely detected, even when the operating conditions such as the charge SM ratio, top-blown oxygen amt., and bottom-blown gas amt. are changed. |
