PREPARATION OF MULTILAYER PRINTED WIRING BOARD

PURPOSE:To enhance positional accuracy in the direction right-angled to a needle head part, by driving a horizontal U-shaped metallic needles into a constitutional product, wherein a plurality of circuit boards and prepregs are superposed each other, so that the needle head parts show two directions and needle leg parts become vertical. CONSTITUTION:When one direction of the periphery of the constitutional product on a positioning table 2 is set to X and the other direction right-angled to said direction thereof is set to Y, needles 4 are driven in the constitutional product 7 on the line outside the straight line connecting positioning pins 3 and parallel thereto both sides of the Y-direction so that needle head parts 8 are alternately arranged in the X- and Y-directions. In this case, a two-head type constitution apparatus wherein units for driving the needles 4 are mounted in Y- and X-direction heads 5, 6 crossing each other at right angles is allowed to run to allow the X- and Y-direction heads to perform driving operation.
