GOLF CLUB AND GOLF TRAINING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE:To calculate the speed, moving distance, locus, etc., of a golf club head from acceleration applied to said head at a time point by housing at least one semiconductor acceleration sensor in the golf club head to detect the acceleration in a predetermined direction. CONSTITUTION:At least one semiconductor acceleration sensor is built in an end 2 of the golf club head. Said sensor as a whole is constituted from a frame portion 21, a weight portion 22, and a thinly formed beam portion 26 for interconnecting these portions punched and prepared integrally out of a single crystal silicon substrate in the U-shaped form. The beam portion is selectively doped with a strain sensitive resistance 24. When the motion of heat is intended to be measured three-dimensionally, a plurality of sensors have to be three- dimensionally combined to direct the main surface of sensor in a desired direction, and are preferably embedded in a wood head together with an elastic reinforcement, particularly to make 90 deg. with each other so that the Z axis becomes equal to a so-called loft angle.
