BASE WHEEL FOR FURNITURE

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of packages at the time of a shipment and to attain a simple working method at the time of a construction by pivotally connecting at least one end of a connecting member to a front plate or a back plate, rotating and opening the connecting member and making the other end of the connecting member abut against other front plate or back plate and connecting to constitute a frame. CONSTITUTION:The front plate 2 and the back plate 3 of a base wheel are bridged and connected by the connecting member 6, rotatable connecting means 8 fastened by a wood screw 7 are disposed on the one side thereof and fastened by the wood screw at point symmetrical positions in recessed grooves 4, 5. Since the connecting member 6 is rotatably moved by the connecting means 8 rotatable in the recessed grooves 4, 5 of the front plate 2 and the back plate 3 and when the member 6 is closed, the connecting member 6 is stored in the respective recessed grooves 4, 5 to reduce the depth dimension of a base wheel main body 1 and reduce a form dimension. Since the connecting member 6 is disposed at the point symmetrical to the front plate 2 and the back plate 3, when it is required to adjust the dimension, the other end parts of the front plate 2 and the back plate 3 are cut to easily adjust the dimension without damaging an assembling operability.
