Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To extend the evaporator cleaning interval and to reduce the frequency of shutdown by continuously adding the acetylated glyceride uniformly diluted and dispersed with water to the feed liq. to a multiple-effect evaporator for concentrating a dilute saccharide juice and at a place before the final effect. CONSTITUTION:The acetylated glyceride is a name given to >=1 kind among monoacetomonofatty acid ester obtained by acetylating the residual hydroxyl group of the glycerin mono-and difatty acid ester consisting of the 8-22 C fatty acid and/or 8-18C unsaturated fatty acid alone or their mixture, glycerin monoacetodifatty acid ester, glycerin monoacetodifatty acid ester, and glycerin monodiacetomonofatty acid ester. An aq. soln. wherein the acetylated monoglyceride is uniformly diluted and dispersed is continuously added in a specified ratio to the sucrose in the evaporator feed liq. and at a place before the final effect. By this method, the amt. of scales deposited on the heating surface of the evaporator is reduced, and the process efficiency and workability caused by the scale property can be improved. |
