Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester article having improved slipperiness, adhesivity, printability, etc., by containing a surface of a formed polyester article with a polyhalogenated aliphatic alcohol at room temperature for a specific period and removing the alcohol from the surface, thereby densely and uniformly forming conical protrusions made of the same polyester material and having a size falling within a specific range on the surface of the polyester article. CONSTITUTION:A surface of a formed polyester article (preferably formed article of polyethylene terephthalate or polyethylene naphthalate) is made to contact with a polyhalogenated aliphatic alcohol (preferably hexafluoroisopropanol, etc.) at room temperature (preferably 15-50 deg.C) for 0.1-10min and the alcohol is removed from the surface to densely and uniformly form conical protrusions made of the same polyester material and having a base diameter of 1-10mum and a height of 0.3-0.7 times the diameter of the base. The formed article can be utilized also as a substrate for electronic device, a film for precision drawing, etc.
