FILE INFORMATION MANAGING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of files to be corrected when a system goes down and to prevent access performance from being lowered by providing a data change flag representing the fact that data is changed, and an access flag representing the fact that access is performed repeatedly in a prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:At the time of registering a corresponding file name on a file list table 2 and writing it by a user program 1 with a file 4 is OPEN-ed, corresponding data change flag 2-2 and access flag 2-3 are set. And when a file state decision part 3-1 which constitutes a patroller process 3 started up at every prescribed time judges that no access flag 2-3 is set by referring, a file managing information updating part 3-2 writes the data and file managing information held in a memory in a data area 6 which constitutes the file 4 and a file control area 5, and also, resets the data change flag 2-2.
