PHYSICAL DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To enable retrieval by pointer processing by combining tables where each information on entry block position, inventory position, and goods identification is stored to judge a block where goods are to be stored and inventory of delivered goods and give entry/delivery command. CONSTITUTION:Entry goods identification information and delivery goods identification information are respectively input to an entry/delivery control device 20 through input devices 10A, 10B. For entry, an entry block is retrieved from information of an entry position information storage portion 21, and an offset value obtained from the block is used to check whether goods are in stock in the entry block or not from information of goods identification information storage portion 23. If goods are not in stook, an entry/delivery device 30 is driven to enter the goods. At the time of delivery, delivery goods block is retrieved by inventory position information storage portion 22 to check a block where goods are in stock among blocks, and inventory instruction is given to the entry/delivery device 30. By this arrangement, goods management can be done in a simple constitution so as to facilitate maintenance and improve reliability.
