Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a brown dyestuff free from smell and bitterness, by removing a saccharide component in (waste) molasses with a microorganism filtering and removing impurities such as calcium by an ultrafilter or a reverse osmosis membrane and simultaneously concentrating. CONSTITUTION:A microorganism (preferably yeast) is added to molasses or waste molasses, cultivated to remove a saccharide component, then impurities such as calcium or potassium are removed by filtration with an ultrafilter having 1,000-20,000 fraction molecular weight or a reverse osmosis membrane having low desalting ratio and a dyestuff component is simultaneously concentrated to give a brown dyestuff.
