COLLECTING METHOD OF SUBLIMABLE SUBSTANCE AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To easily collect a sublimable substance, by making a sublimable substance adhering to the surface of heat conducting tube, detecting the flow of the sublimable substance to the secondary part of a heat-exchanger, and working a heating medium at a temperature higher than the m.p. of the sublimable compound. CONSTITUTION:A heat-exchanger 2 is installed between a storage tank 1 and a water tank 7, a cold water is flown in a pipe in the heat-exchanger 2 so as to cool a sublimable substance-contg. vent gas flown to the body of the heat-exchanger and to deposite the sublimable substance on the surface of heat conducting pipe. The flow of the sublimable substance to the secondary part of the heat-exchanger 2 is detected by a gas detector. According to the detection, the cold water in the pipe is replaced with a heating medium at higher temperature than the m.p. of the sublimable substance to melt the substance adhering to the pipe. Because the heat- exchanger 2 is inclined, the resulting molten article along the vent gas leading double pipe 3 downward to a storage tank 1 and collected easily. As a result, without making the sublimable substance let out to air, the storage tank is operated continuously and safely.
