MAGNETIC HEAD

PURPOSE:To reduce thermal off-track quantity and to execute an exact positioning by interposing an elastic body between the beam of a supporting arm and a interrupting board. CONSTITUTION:Between a beam 7 of a supporting arm 1, which connects magnetic core assemblies 2 and 6 and magnetic core assemblies 3 and 4, and an interrupting board 5, an elastic body 8 is inserted and adhesion-fixed to the beam 7. Namely, the causing the thermal deformation of the interrupting board 5, which accompanies a temperature change, to be hardly transmitted to the beam 7 of the supporting arm, relative displacement quantity between the magnetic core assembly 2 and the magnetic core assembly 3, 4 and 6 can be caused to be minimum. Thus, the exact positioning can be executed.
