FLOOR MATERIAL

PURPOSE: To provide a floor material which is easy to manufacture at a low cost and abundant in durability by forming a surface layer material made of a thin wood plate or powder and grains on the surface of a substrate material. CONSTITUTION: A thin cork plate body is stuck on a sheet 2 serving as a substrate material to form a surface layer material 3. Although the sheet 2 is made of urethane rubber, however a synthetic resin material such as polyvinyl chloride or foam polystyrene may be used in place of the urethane rubber. A ceramic or polyvinyl chloride is applied on the surface layer material 3 as a protective material 4. The protective material 4 is transparent, is formed into a thin sheet shape on the surface of the surface layer material 3 by spraying or sticking, and prevents the peeling or pollution of the surface layer material 3.
