Zusammenfassung: | NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (R2 is H, methyl, ethyl, isopropyl, undecyl, heptadecyl or phenyl; R4 is H or methyl; excluding the case that both R2 and R4 are H). EXAMPLE:2-Methyl-4-carbamoylimidazole. USE:Raw material for various imidazole compounds expected to be applicable in the fields of biochemistry and pharmaceuticals. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I can be produced by reacting a compound of formula II with ammonia or an ammonia-generating agent (e.g., ammonium carbonate, ammonium carbamate, urea or tetrammine copper (II) sulfate monohydrate) in the presence of water under heating. The compound can be converted advantageously into imidazole compounds such as cyanoimidazole, aminomethylimidazole or carboxyimidazole which are expected to be applicable in the above-mentioned fields solving the problems of conventional method (troublesome operation and poor efficiency). |
