Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To surely mesh a gear-shaped work and a cutter in a synchronously meshed state by controlling the number of revolution of a cutter or the work by a fine quantity until the phase difference of the both outputs in the revolution free from the meshing of the both accords with the initial value in the meshing in a static state. CONSTITUTION:A meshed state is generated by meshing a cutter 13 and a work 14 in a static state or positioning the both separately, and each position of the sensors 9 and 12 is finely adjusted so that the phase difference obtained from a phase comparator 3 becomes zero. When the cutter shaft and the work axis are synchronized by increasing the number of revolution to the working number of revolution, the deflection from the meshed state is outputted as a phase difference, and when each number of revolution of the both is controlled by a minute quantity by the correction pulse, and the phase difference is reduced to zero, the state similar to the meshed state is generated. Then, the between- axis distance is set to a working dimension position by starting the upper and lower shaft motors 6, and then the upper and lower motors 6 are shifted in the circumferential direction, and finishing work is started.
