EMERGENT RETURN ON NC SKIVING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To prevent a cutter from being damaged, by allowing the cutter and a work to be slightly shifted in the separating direction in the radial feed shaft direction on emergent stop or to be perfectly separated by the relative shift only in the axial feed shaft direction and permitting automatic separation. CONSTITUTION:When the signal of an emergency button is inputted, a table shaft and a cutter shaft maintains the meshing revolution or are deceleration- stopped, maintaining the meshing revolution, keeping the same ratio to the revolution ratio in cutting by a cutter shaft driving motor 37. Then, a cutter 36 is separated very slightly from a work in the radial feed shaft direction by a radial feed shaft driving motor 27, and the cutter 36 is shifted to be perfectly separated from the work in the axial feed shaft direction by an axial feed shaft driving motor 31, and engagement is released. In this case, the relative shift of the cutter 36 and the work in the radial feed shaft direction is not executed and the cutter 36 may be separated from the work only by the shift in the axial feed shaft direction.
