DISK HOLDER

PURPOSE:To eliminate the dislocation of a disk and to improve an oscillation withstanding characteristic by providing an operating means member movable between an engaging position for engaging the disk disposed on respective trays and an opening position for opening it and a driving means for moving the member between the engaging position and the opening position in a disk holder. CONSTITUTION:The tray 13 carrying the desired disk of a multi disk player protrudes externally of a hosing 11 by a rotating claw member 30 disposed on the disk player side to press the tray 13 to a rotation supporting shaft 22 side by the member 30. When the tray 13 protrudes, a protrusion 13g disposed on the lower part thereof is engaged with the claw part of a movable engaging member 27. Thereby, the member 27 is moved to the opening position to cancel the engaged state of the disk 12. Thereafter, the disk 12 is carried on a turn table, when a playing is completed, the tray 13 is stored in the housing 12, the member 27 slides on the side wall part of the housing, pressed to the side wall part and moved to the engaging position.
