PRODUCTION OF JAPANESE-LACQUER ORNAMENTAL MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To form a surface layer consisting of natural Japanese lacquer by placing a transfer material having a specified natural Japanese lacquer layer on a soft polyvinyl chloride resin sheet with the adhesive layer directed toward the sheet, heating the material from the surface of a releasable material, and pressing the transfer material. CONSTITUTION:A polyester resin film is used as the releasable material, a natural Japanese lacquer film layer is formed on the material in 50mu thickness, and further the adhesive layer consisting of a synthetic resin is laminated on the upper surface to prepare the transfer material. The transfer material is placed on the soft polyvinyl chloride resin sheet so that the adhesive layer surface is brought into contact with the sheet. The transfer material is heated from the surface of the releasable material and pressed to bond the transfer material to the sheet, and the releasable material is released to produce a Japanese lacquer ornamental material. The temp. in heating the transfer material is controlled to 130-200 deg.C, and the pressure to 2-8kg/cm .
