Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain high purity copper of very high quality by electrolyzing primarily refined copper as an anode with a diaphragm in a copper nitrate bath. CONSTITUTION:Ordinary electrolytic copper as raw material is used as an anode and a Ti plate as a cathode is placed in the cathode chamber of an electrolytic cell contg. a prescribed electrolytic bath and provided with a diaphragm. While the anolyte is drawn out, purified in a chelate resin tower and fed to the cathode chamber, the electrolytic copper is electrolyzed. The resulting primarily refined copper is used as an anode, a Ti plate as a cathode is placed in the cathode chamber of an electrolytic cell provided with a diaphragm and the refined copper is electrolyzed again in a prescribed copper nitrate bath to obtain high purity copper. This copper is high purity copper of very high quality nearly free from silver, sulfur, iron and other components. A copper wire suitable for audio, video, television, etc., can be simply and surely obtd. with the high purity copper.
