Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To reduce the amount of wedge biting and to reduce variations of the amount of biting by operating in combination a pressure switch and a pressure-reducing solenoid valve which intervene respectively in a wedge-pushing jack and a tension jack. CONSTITUTION: A prestressing strand 1 is tensioned by a tension jack 3 and then an anchoring wedge 4 is pushed into a strand-anchoring metal fitting 5 via a wedge-pushing jack 2 to anchor the strand 1 in place, during which the wedge pushing force of the jack 2 is detected by means of a pressure switch PS intervening in the actuation circuit of the jack 2. Once the pushing force has reached a predetermined pressure, a wedge pushing force detection signal is sent to the pressure-reducing solenoid valve V2 of the jack 3 intervening in the actuation circuit of the jack 3, so as to actuate the solenoid valve V2 and decrease a pressure on the pressurization side of the jack 3. Further, the anchoring wedge 4 can be pressed into the anchoring metal fitting 5 by a certain pushing force.
