PAPER FEEDER FOR ROTARY PRESS

PURPOSE: To remove restriction of the shortest length of the feeding sheet size deviatively fed in duplicate by arranging a feeding sheet separator, a periodic roller, a sheet feeding table, a sheet insertion gauge and a driving device of a supply belt in a sheet feeder to supply a feeding sheet to a pressure cylinder. CONSTITUTION: This sheet feeder 1 receives an individual feeding sheet from a feeding sheet staple 2. A feeding sheet separator 3 is arranged to separate a feeding sheet by belonging to the feeding sheet staple 2. The separated singly feeding sheet is supplied to a belt roller 4 and a periodic roller 5 to be carried further from there by a supply belt 7 through a sheet feeding table 6. The feeding sheet is carried up to a sheet insertion gauge 8 to be positioned there in the carrying direction and in the lateral direction to the carrying direction through a horizontal needle 9. The supply belt 7 is guided through another belt roller 10, and is also tensioned through a tension roller 11. After positioning the feeding sheet of the forefront, this feeding sheet is received and accelerated by a gripping claw device 12 to be delivered to the first pressure cylinder 13.
