Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To attain excellent shading correction by generating a shading correction data from plural sets of optical image information having different spectrum distributions and storing data of hinds less than kinds of optical image information. CONSTITUTION:Four-bit data being the 6th, 5th, 4th and 3rd order from the LSB from an A/D converter, 12 are stored by prescanning as picture information into a RAM 14 for storing shading data. That is, let picture elements of a CCD reading the G component be PX and let subscanning sampling picture elements be PY, then the capacity of PXXPYX4 bits is provided. Lookup tables 15-17 are used to convert the picture in response to the shading data RAM 14 and the table content is set by a CPU 18.
