Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To improve a dimensional stability by using a homopolymer or copolymer of an isobornyl (meth)acrylate as a polymer to be impregnated and filled into a timber, thereby largely suppressing a moisture-absorption swelling or moisture-discharging contraction. CONSTITUTION: As a polymer impregnating into a timber, a homopolymer of an isobornyl (meth)acrylate or a copolymer of the isobornyl(meth)acrylate and other monomer copolymerizable with the acrylate is used. Here, as the homopolymer, in addition to the homopolymer of the isobornyl acrylate or the homopolymer of the isobornyl methacrylate, copolymer of the isobornyl acrylate and isobornyl methacrylate is included. And, in the case of using the copolymer of the isobornyl (meth)acrylate and other monomer copolymerizable with the acrylate, it is desirable to contain the isobornyl (meth)acrylate of 5 wt.% or more of the entire monomer or preferably 10 wt.% or more. If this rate is excessively low, sufficient dimensional stability is not obtained.
