PARABOLIC ANTENNA AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:To obtain the parabolic antenna of high quality and satisfactory reliability by equipping an antenna main body in a cup shape, a wave reflecting layer to be composed of conductive metal, which is fit on the concave side of the antenna main body, and a weatherproofing film layer to be fitted on the wave reflecting layer. CONSTITUTION:For a parabolic antenna 10, a wave reflecting layer 3 to be composed of the conductive metal is fitted to the concave side of an antenna main body 1 to be almost the cup shape and a weatherproofing film layer 4 is fitted on this wave reflecting layer 3. It is preferable to use an aluminum foil whose width is 3-75mum, for example, and to provide a thermoplastic resin layer, which is composed of any one of polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene and polypropylene, as needed. It is preferable to compose the weatherproofing film layer 4 of polyvinylidene fluoride(PVF), etc. Thus, the parabolic antenna of the high quality and satisfactory reliability can be obtained.
