Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain an insulated electric cable of self-fusion adhesive property and of excellent wear resistance by forming an insulation layer of the self-fusion adhesive property through application and baking of a paint made of a straight-linked macromolecular compound added with a specified ratio of powder of polytetrafluoroethylene of low molecular weight. CONSTITUTION:A paint made by adding 0.1-10 weight parts of powder of polytetrafluoroethylene of a low molecular weight of less than 2000 and of a mean particle diameter of 10mum or less to 100 weight parts of straight-linked macromolecular compound is applied and baked to form a layer of self-fusion adhesive insulated layer. A required insulated electric cable of self-fusion adhesive property can be obtained for example by applying and baking an adhesive paint on a copper wire of a diameter of 0,5mm via an intermediate film of polyesterimide applied and baked in a thickness of 0.020mm, with the adhesive paint being composed such that 22 weight parts of phenoxy resin and 16 weight parts of 50 weight % solution of alcohol-denatured melamine formaldehyde condensate are dissolved with 62 weight parts of cyclohexanone added with dispered powder of polytetrafluoroethylene of low molecular weight of 5000-20000 of a mean particle diameter of 4mum by an amount of 0.5 weight % of resin portion, and being applied and baked to form a 0.015mm thick film.
