TREATMENT OF WATER INCORPORATING HUMIC ACID

PURPOSE:To efficiently remove humic acid by using glucose as a main carbon source and propagating Basidiomycetes in a biological reactor and thereafter allowing them to be brought into contact with water incorporating humic acid. CONSTITUTION:Water incorporating humic acid is held in a biological reactor V1 and glucose is added through a line P3 and Basidiomycetes fed through a line P4 are seeded and thereafter Basidiomycetes are propagated under the aerobic conditions by sending air through a line P9. Thereafter water incorporating humic acid is sent to the biological reactor V1 via a line P1 and continuously treated. Basidiomycetes suspension discharged from the biological reactor V1 is allowed to flow into a precipitation tank V2 via a line P5 and separated to supernatant liquid and Basidiomycetes. Thereby this treatment can be operated with inexpensive treatment cost.
