Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To provide a stable operation with an integrated circuit as a whole by detecting a substrate current by, e.g., a current integrator, and using an output thereof for a line voltage control or controlling activating signals of the integrated circuit. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor integrated circuit comprises an integrated circuit body 1, a line voltage control circuit 2, and a substrate-current detector 6, and is powered externally between a power supply 3 and a grounding power supply 4. A substrate current generated by the integrated circuit 1 is supplied to the detector 6 through a substrate terminal 5. Furthermore, a control signal corresponding to the amount of substrate current detected by the detector 6 is supplied to the line voltage control circuit and a voltage of an internal power supply 8 is reduced. This allows an avalanche breakdown to be prevented and the substrate current to be reduced, whereby a stable operation of the integrated circuit can be ensured. |
