DEVICE FOR CHECKING COMPLETION OF DELIVERY

PURPOSE:To compress the volume and the time of transmission data by storing the same slip number data as that registered in a portable data terminal carried by a driver in a computer installed in an office in advance. CONSTITUTION:The slip number of baggage to be delivered in registered in the portable data terminal 21 carried by a carrier, and the sequence of input and the slip number are stored in the computer 14 installed at the office. The carrier inputs a corresponding slip number to the portable data terminal 21 at every completion of delivery, and simultaneously, inputs the result of the completion of the delivery. In the portable data terminal 21, an internal processing to attach a mark to show the result of the completion of the delivery at the position of the corresponding slip number inputted in advance is performed. In case of transmitting the result of the completion of the delivery by using an MCA radio equipment 12, only the result of the completion of the delivery according to the sequence of the slip number without sending the slip number itself. In such a way, it is possible to compress the volume and the time of the transmission data.
