CONVERGENCE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To allow the temperature compensation of plastic magnets without applying special processing on the plastic magnets side and simplify the structure by providing a soft magnetic sheet or a film on the side of a holder holding the plastic magnets. CONSTITUTION:Multiple pairs of ring-shaped plastic magnets 4, 6 and 8 are incorporated on the outer periphery of a holder 1 fitted to the neck section of a cathode-tube, a soft magnetic sheet for temperature compensation 17 is inserted between the outer periphery of the holder 1 and the ring-shaped plastic magnets 4, 6 and 8 or a soft magnetic film is coated on the outer periphery or the inner periphery of the holder 1. The temperature characteristic of the soft magnetic material on the holder side is adequately selected. The temperature compensation of the plastic magnets can be thereby performed without applying special processing on the plastic magnets side, the structure is simplified, and the manufacture and assembling can be facilitated.
