Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent the slipping of a fuel assembly otherwise caused by a vertical seismic force while smoothing a fuel exchange, by providing a circular groove on the inner surface of a connecting pipe at an upper fitted part to house a metal ring into the circular groove with a thermal expansion coefficient smaller than that of an entrance nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A metal ring 41 and a flat spring 42 are housed into a circular groove 45 provided on the upper end inner surface of a connecting tube 31. Thermal expansion coefficient of the metal ring 41 is set smaller than that of an entrance nozzle. Thus, in the exchange of a fuel, a specified gap is generated between the metal ring 41 and the upper fitted surface 38a of the entrance nozzle 25. In the rated operation, the metal ring 41 is shrunk fit with the upper fitted surface 38a of the entrance nozzle 25.
