PIPE CLEANING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: To powerfully blow a mixed stream composed of compressed air and abraisive to the deposits on the inside surface of a pipe and to surely remove the deposits by disposing a compressed air and abrasive discharging nozzle which is supported at a rotating device body and rotates by opening this nozzle diagonally on the rotating direction side. CONSTITUTION: One piece of the compressed air and abraisive discharging nozzle 2 which is freely rotatably supported at the rotating device body is disposed to open diagonally on the rotating direction side. The mixed stream of the compressed air and the abraisive is injected from the aperture of the nozzle 2 toward the rotating direction at the time of operation. The mixed stream under injection is powerfully blown by the interaction of the injection speed and the rotating speed of the nozzle 2 toward the inside wall surface of the pipe P to be cleaned, by which the deposits are removed. Further, the deposits on the inside wall surface of the pipe P are scraped by a cutter 11 rotating in the balancing state of the rotation with the nozzle 2. The deposits are removed even by the cutter 7 disposed at a compressed air discharging nozzle 6 exclusive of this nozzle 2.
