Zusammenfassung:	NEW MATERIAL:1,2-Benzoisothiazol-3(2H)-one 1,1-dioxide ion(1-),2-hydroxy-N,N, N-trimethyl-ethanaminium. USE:Useful as an agricultural and horticultural fungicide. It has no harmful effect to crops and stably protects the crops from blights over a long period. Especially, it is effective in controlling rice blast and bacterial leaf blight, etc., which are blights occuring at the stalk and leaf of paddy rice plant. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I is produced by reacting 1,2- benzoisothiazol-3(2H)-one 1,1-dioxide of formula II with 2-hudroxy-N,N,N- trimethyl-ethanaminium derivative of formula III (X is OH or acid group) preferably in a protic solvent.
