Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To correct elongation of strands and to prevent fault, by tightening a wedge clamp driven into a disconnected point of strand through a turn buckle. CONSTITUTION:Clamps 1 having wedges 2 are driven at the opposite ends of a disconnected section B of OPGW(Optical fiber composite overhead ground wire) 10 strand. Then both wedges clamps 1 are coupled through a coupling rod 3 and a turn buckle 4 is arranged between them. When the turn buckle 4 is rotated and tightened in the direction for pulling the wedged clamp 1, local elongation of OPGW10 due to disconnection of strand is recovered so as to recover elongation of an inner optical fiber, thus preventing disconnection of the optical fiber due to abnormal local elongation. Since repairement can be performed with the disconnected section B being left as it is, the disconnected section is not subjected to unexpected damage and repairing work can be performed easily and quickly through utilization of the wedged clamp 1. |
