Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To simply change over between a transparent glass condition and an opaque glass condition by providing an instantaneous light adjusting glass in which a liquid crystal sheet is sandwiched between two transparent glasses on a door and turning it on or off from inside or outside of a room, CONSTITUTION: An instantaneous light adjusting glass 3 in which a liquid crystal sheet 30 is sandwiched between two transparent glasses 31 and 31 is installed on a door of a sickroom. This instantaneous light adjusting glass 3 has such characteristic that controls the see-through property of the glass by utilizing a characteristic of liquid crystals which are arrayed in a fixed direction when a voltage is applied thereon. Wiring is done in such a way that on or off operation becomes possible at both places of the vicinity of a patient's bed and a nurse station. Consequently, patient's privacy is protected, and visual confirmation of the inside of the room is not prevented to prevent an unexpected situation.
