OPTICAL COPYING MACHINE FOR THERMALLY TRANSFERRED TAPE-FORM INK SHEET

PURPOSE:To reduce a printing energy to lower a cost and to enhance a printing speed, by providing a setting construction in which a thermally transferred tape-form ink sheet is set as an original and recording information required is copied. CONSTITUTION:A driver rotatively drives a thermally transferred ink ribbon 6, stops it at a specified position, and presses down a surface to be copied 6a of the ink ribbon 6 against an original setting surface 1a of a copying machine 1. The driver is securely held on an upper surface 16 of the copying machine 1 together with a cassette guide frame 3. A detector 10 is mounted on the cassette guide frame 3 so that recording information required to be copied can be selected by specific information. When the specific information is inputted to the driver, the ink ribbon 6 rotates and comes to a stop with the detection of the assigned specific information by the detector 10. A plunger 11 fixed to the cassette guide frame 3 presses down an ink ribbon presser cover 12 against the original setting surface 1a of the copying machine 1 after the ink ribbon 6 is brought to a stop, and then an opriginal setting is completed.
