LEAD WIRE CUTTING DEVICE FOR ELECTRONIC PARTS

PURPOSE:To dispense with any attitude correction at the time of delivering each of electronic parts to an aftertreatment device by cutting each lead wire of these electronic parts into specified length at a time upon correcting the lead wire position by a shifting mechanism, and maintaining the position with a holding mechanism even after cutting. CONSTITUTION:After a positional relationship between a body 5b of an electronic part 5 located by a pair of support plates 34, 34 and its lead wire 5a with plate guide members 36, 36 of a positioning mechanism and a shifting mechanism 35, the lead wire is cut off into specified length at a time by a pair of cutters 33 of a cutter mechanism 32. At the time of this cutting, the lead wire 5a is held between a metal plate 38 and a rubber plate 39 of a holding mechanism 37, and the electronic part 5 is maintained of its attitude even after cutting, and in this state, it is delivered to the next process where the lead wire 5a is inserted into a printed circuit board. Thus, at the time of being delivered to an aftertreatment device, there is unnecessary to recorrect an attitude of the electronic part, so that its structure can be simplified as a whole.
