FEED MECHANISM FOR ELECTRONIC COMPONENT

PURPOSE:To make sure the emptying of a magazine by accurate simple structure by detecting the state of vacuum of a vacuum suction means and detecting the emptying of an electronic component the magazine in response to the state of the detection. CONSTITUTION:Electronic components 13 are fed one by one, and the specified position of a push-up pin 18 is detected by a push-up pin position sensor 19, thus detecting the decrease of the number of the electronic parts 13 in a magazine 1. When all of the electronic parts are supplied from the magazine 1, a suction nozzle 15 is lowered to a through-hole 16 in the surface of a stopper 14 on the next suction operation of the suction nozzle 15, thus detecting a defective vacuum by a vacuum sensor 20 even when a valve 22 is opened. The discharge operation of the empty magazine 1 is conducted in response to the detection.
